This is a short film that I randomly stumbled up on while surfing through Short Of The Week.  At first it seems like an angsty testosterone driven hooligan story about a group of skin heads.  The short quickly unfolds and explores the a tumultuous point in the history of northern Ireland through the teen eye.  This film is the extended cinematic short of the U2 music video for Every Breaking Wave.  It won music video awards in 2015 and show cases story telly with minimal to no dialogue.  If I’m being real I’m not super big on U2 and I still get annoyed when my phone auto iPhone auto plays their album when i trying to play a Spotify song.  But I do have to give Aoife McArdle props on this dope Short film/ music video.
